Pop List Mania

A fast-paced, pop culture-themed word game where players race to come up with unique answers based on a given category and letter.

Objective:

Score points by coming up with unique pop culture-related words or phrases that fit the given category and starting letter.

Setup:

1. Players: Ideal for 2-4 players.

2. Materials:

   • A timer (30 seconds per round).

   • A notepad and pen for each player.

   • A way to randomly select letters (like a spinner or letter dice).

   • Pre-made list of categories (or improvise as you go).

How to Play:

1. Choose a Category: One player picks a pop culture-related category, such as:

   • Movie Titles

   • Celebrity Names

   • TV Show Characters

   • Song Titles

   • Reality TV Shows

   • Fictional Places

2. Select a Letter: Randomly choose a letter to start each round.

3. Start the Timer: Players have 30 seconds to write down as many answers as possible that fit the category and start with the chosen letter.

4. Share Answers: Once time is up, players take turns reading their answers aloud.

Scoring:

• Unique Answer (no one else has it): 1 point

• Duplicate Answer: 0 points (cross it off)

• Creative Bonus (if applicable): 1 extra point if the group agrees it’s especially clever or unexpected

Winning the Game:

Play as many rounds as desired, adding up the points each round. The player with the highest total score at the end wins!

Answers:

• Player A: Back to the Future

• Player B: Batman Begins

• Player C: Breakfast at Tiffany’s

• Player D: Blade Runner

Since all answers are unique, each player scores 1 point.
